Course 1014 – Mapping at NLA
Newspapers and government gazettes now allow us to identify
land sales associated with our ancestors. Unclear what to do with
this information we might turn to 'Ask A Librarian. HAGSOC member
Quentin Slade generally answers these questions. In this seminar
she will work through real life examples of such genealogical
discoveries.
When - Saturday 21 November from 2-3.30pm via Zoom. Cost is $12
for members, and $15 for non-members.
But there is more to NLA's holding of maps than parish and cadastral
maps. Quentin will demonstrate how a range of maps enhance our family
research.
Participants are welcome to submit questions to Quentin and some
will be worked though as well. Q&A will follow.
Payment required at time of registration
